Family Owned Business

We are a family owned business and were incorporated as an LLC in 2003.  We have invested heavily in equipment and automation to insure that our unique products are high quality and competitive in the market place.  We manufacture all of our products in our 10,000 square foot factory in Portland Oregon.  We are rapidly building a national network of independently owned outdoor furniture distributors throughout the United States and selected international countries.  To date we have shipped more then 15,000 products in North America to our distributors.  We provide a business opportunity consisting of over 35 outdoor furniture products and outdoor and indoor pet home products. We provide a comprehensive business package.  This allows our customers to begin business very quickly and begin selling high quality, high margin, solid wood products.

We contract with a team of professionals to develop business packages that support the distributor in their endeavor to start and operate their own high margin outdoor furniture business. Our business packages includes custom web sites, brochures, merchandise tags and other business tools that are needed to launch your outdoor furniture business  with a fast and profitable start. Our Vision

Our business opportunity fit a wide variety of new or current business owners including:

Our target customer will typically have a goal to develop between $ 20,000 and $ 300,000 of business revenue per year.  The lower end of the scale will include those that are working part time and the higher end is for those that wish to start and build a full time business and have the funds available for additional investment.

To insure that we achieve the goals that we set out for our distributors we are constantly developing new high margin products.  We are also developing three distinct product segments.  Each segment addresses new market dynamics including new target customer and seasonal purchasing characteristics.  Each product segment may have multiple product groups and product lines within each group.   The objective is to address multiple markets segments within the same territory and expand the market size for our distributors if they choose to provide multiple product segments.  Each product segment will address unique markets within the same population.  We currently plan to develop three product segments.  The first product segment is in production with over 15,000 units sold to date.  This is our outdoor furniture and garden group.  The next product segment being developed which will be introduced in late 2007 is the Pet group which will include pet houses, pet beds and other product groups as the product segment expands.

Many distributors will choose to distribute only one product segment,  however the option is available to expand your business and market additional product segments. A distributor can begin now with the outdoor furniture product group, build the business to a significant level and then another product segment.

Unique Products

We will continue to develop end user products that are unique and highly desirable.  Our marketing tests have demonstrated that the middle to upper income buyer is searching for a unique product, one that defines the buyer as a quality buyer and does not wish to be a me too shopper.

We minimize the labor component of our process by investing in factory automation, a few examples are listed below. 

Weinig Moulder

Our five head moulder allows us to mould parts to a uniform size which is necassary when providing RTA components.  We are also able to mould unique profiles very fast and with high quality to insure we maintain our competitive advantage.  Our installation of our Weinig moulder in 2007 was the most important step in our ability to offer RTA components to our distributors.

 

Optimizing Saw

Optimizing or re-man is the first process we perform in our factory after drying the wood to under 18 % moisture content.  Optimizing cuts the sweet parts from the wood and leaves behind the wood that is not high enough quality for our specifications. 
 
 
Our automated optimizing saw uses computerized stops to set the length precisely every time. 

KOMO CNC Router.
 
This CNC Router is computerized and cuts in three axis at very high speeds. Digital drawings of parts are sent from the CAD design computer to our CNC Router.  Parts are cut exactly the same every time, with minimal labor.  We cut two parts at a time on our Komo four spindle machine, all of our curved profiles are machined on our Komo CNC router.

 

 
Wide Belt Sanding
 
We can sand over 3,000 components in one day with our Wide Belt sander.  We send each component through the sanding process two times to insure a great final finish.   Our sander uses an infrared tracking system to oscillate the belts to insure an excellent finish.  Sawdust is removed from the sanding process with our dust collection system which zips sawdust along at 5,000 cubic feet per second.

Our goal is to provide high quality, unique product components at the lowest price possible to our distributors so they can enjoy very high margins.  This includes:
  • Sourcing Raw Materials in high volumes and high quality
  • Automation of all factory processes
  • Negotiating the best shipping class which translates to low pallet freight costs to our distributors.
